The tour will commence with a scenic drive to Serra do Cume and the magnificent viewpoint home to the larger crater in the Azores. Your guide will be on hand pointing out the famous points of interest and also telling you about the landscape and culture on the island. At Serra do Cume there will be a little free time to take in the beauty of the area and also get that memorable photo's before returning back to your guide to continue the tour.

Continuing on to Sao Sebastiao, home to the oldest church on the island, built from volcanic rock and displaying many mosaics inside, here we will have the opportunity to take a visit inside.
Moving on from Sao Sebastiao, we move forward to Serretinha, here we will be able to view the largest isle of the Azores ‘Ilheu das Cabras’, there will be a short stop to explore and take photographs before boarding the transportation to continue on with the tour.
The driver-guide will then ask you to board the transportation to carry on to the city of Angra do Heroismo, where there will be free time to enjoy the city, perhaps enjoy a coffee, souvenir shop, or explore the beautiful botanical garden located in the center of the city.
The tour will then go on to Monte Brasil a volcanic peninsular surrounded by a 16th-century fortress. An amazing viewpoint of this spectacular site. Your guide will be giving you full information about the formation of the area and the construction of the fortress.
At the end of this educating and scenic tour, the driver guide will return you back to the port in plenty of time for your cruise ship’s departure.
