Highlights

St. Procopius Basilica in Třebíč
St. Procopius Basilica is a Romanesque-Gothic Christian church in Třebíč, Czech Republic. It was built on the site of the original Virgin Mary's Chapel of the Benedictine monastery in 1240–1280. It became a national cultural monument in 2002 as a part of the "monastery with St. Procopius church".
Telč
Telč is a town in the southern Czech Republic. It’s known for its Italian Renaissance architecture including the chateau, formerly a Gothic castle, with carved wood ceilings. The Highlands Museum includes a model of the city. Colorful houses with arcades and ornamental gables ring Zachariáš of Hradec Square. In the square are the 18th-century Marian Column and St. James Church, the latter with Gothic frescoes.
Telč Castle (Státní zámek Telč)
In the second part of the 14th century the barons of Hradec built a Gothic castle in Telč, which was a simple building in an “L” shape that had first of all defending features, and was fortified by a wall and moat, even in the direction opposite the town.
Třebíč
Třebíč is a town in the Moravian part of the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 35,000 inhabitants. It is the administrative capital of the Třebíč District. The beginnings of the town's history are connected with the establishment of a Benedictine monastery, where the castle is located today.
