Lake Sary-Chelek and the area around it are amazing! This alpine lake bears the title of one of the most beautiful places on the planet with dignity. Located at an altitude of 1873 m, the lake is hidden from prying eyes in the shell of the mountain ranges, like a real gem. The lake is surrounded by walnut and fruit forests. More than 1000 plant species and 160 bird species live in this area. In addition, about 34 species of mammals, such as deer, bears, lynxes, and wolves, can be found in this reserve. The landscapes on the way to the lake are mesmerizing and stunning! The road through the mountain passes reaches over 3500 meters and offers a beautiful view of the green pastures, where shepherds graze their cattle.

Itinerary
Day 1: From Osh to Sary Chelek
Your guide and driver will pick you up from your accommodation in Osh.
Drive through the beautiful scenery to Sary-Chelek Biosphere Reserve. Lake Sary-Chelek is located in the Jalal-Abad region of Kyrgyzstan, 300 km from Osh.
Check-in at the guesthouse upon arrival in Arkyt village in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight in a guesthouse.
Day 2: Full-day of Sary Chelek Lake exploration
Enjoy breakfast before transfer from Arkyt village to Sary Chelek lake.
Variety of trekking and horseback riding possible to start from Lake or from the nearest villages as Kara-Suu.
The water of Sary Chelek overflows in fish, while the neighboring hills are thickly covered with raspberry bushes, which means you can enjoy fishing or picking the berries. Take a ride on a boat from one side of a lake to the other.
Transfer back to Arkyt in the evening. Dinner and overnight in the guesthouse.
Day 3: From Sary Chelek to Osh
After breakfast transfer back to Osh.
