The next stop will be Algar do Carvao, here the tour will visit the inside of a volcano, the most beautiful area and natural monument in Terceira Island. Explore this incredible area whilst your driver-guide will be giving you the stories of the eruptions.
After a short stop exploring the volcano in Algar do Carvao, the tour will then move on to Furnas do Enxofre. On arrival, the driver guide will take you for a visit to a typical fumaroles field to discover sulfur explosions zones, whilst learning all about the developments over the years.
The final visit will be to Gruta do Natal, here the tour will stop and visit a balsamic lava tunnel approximately 100 meters in length.
All in all, this tour is an experience to be remembered.
At the end of the visit to Gruta do Natal, the tour will then return back to the cruise port in plenty of time for your cruise ship’s departure.
