The bridge was built to improve traffic conditions and adopt Japanese construction technologies. To make this landmark even more beautiful, the Bai Chay Bridge is now illuminated in colorful LED lights that reflect off the bay waters at night.

The city is divided into two main areas: Hon Gai over the other side of the bridge, it is Hon Gai area where you can experience the real local life. where the residential and businesses are, and Bai Chay where the central tourist area is, by the side of Ha Long bay, Replicas of traditional junk boats tour the bay and depart from the city’s Bai Chay district.. Bai Chay also has an artificial beach, restaurants, cafes and dozens of hotels from resort-style complexes to hostels.
Ha Long Bay
Halong Bay is a beautiful natural wonder in northern Vietnam near the Chinese border. The Bay is dotted with 1,600 limestone islands and islets and covers an area of over 1,500 sqkm. This extraordinary area was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994. For many tourists, this place is like something right out of a movie. The fact is that Halong Bay features a wide range of biodiversity, while the surrealistic scenery has indeed featured in endless movies.
Long Tien Pagoda
The largest pagoda in Halong, the Long Tien Pagoda has a unique architecture style of the Nguyen dynasty. It has a three gate entrance with a Buddha statue sitting on the top, and a bell tower below. The pagoda attracts a lot of crowd on the 1st and 15th of every month and during the Tet holiday, when the temple grounds turn into a colorful festival.
Yen Duc Village
Yen Duc village is located on the highway between Hanoi and Halong Bay, creating a convenient stop for tourists to relax and visit a rural community. This is one of the villages in the Red River Delta that still retains its authentic lifestyle. The local people’s lives revolve around rice cultivation and farming activities.
