Highlights

Batuan Village
Batuan is a village located approximately seven kilometers north of Denpasar and ten kilometers south of Ubud, is a favorite with the art center of Bali. It is known for the traditional style of painting, dancing, carving of wood panels. The local artist here has a small community where they are going to work and sell their painting to the visitors who are interested in visiting their village. Batuan has been a village of Balinese artwork and handicrafts for more than a thousand years. According to recorded history, Batuan village has a thousand-year-old history -begins in A.D. 1022, with an inscription in the main temple of the village, the Temple of the Village of Pura Desa Batuan. Batuan Village had to be there in the Age of the Warmadewa Dynasty in Bali. Eventual Batuan came to be called Batuan by the word Batu / Rock because, in those times, this region was a rocky region (in northern Batuan the renowned Balinese sandstones are still made), which is also known as Batuan Village because of daily changes in its pronunciation.

Kemenuh Village
Kemenuh is a village on the Indonesian island of Bali in the town of Sukawati, Gianyar Regency. Kemenuh village is just 10 minutes from Ubud, the village holds the potential for tourism, especially the beautiful breathtaking natural scenery. Pura Desa Batuan Temple
Batuan Temple, referred to locally as Pura Puseh Lan Pura Desa Adat Batuan, is a focal landmark in the namesake village of Batuan that’s famous for its traditional Balinese paintings. Its well-preserved sandstone bas motifs and traditional Balinese temple architecture are its main draws. The 11th-century temple has a grand complex of shrines that face a separate large communal hall from where most visitors start their visit. During major temple ceremonies, towering fruit and flower offerings occupy this space. On other days, local artists and craftsmen display their latest work, from batiks to framed paintings and statuettes.
Tegenungan Waterfall
Tegenungan Waterfall is a waterfall in Bali, Indonesia. It is located at the Tegenungan Kemenuh village, in Gianyar, North from the capital Denpasar and close to the artist village of Ubud. The waterfall is isolated but has become a popular tourist attraction. It is one of the few waterfalls in Bali that is not situated in highlands or mountainous territory. The amount and clarity of the water at the site depend on rainfall but it contains green surroundings with fresh water that can be swum in. The waterfall includes varying highs that can be climbed after the descent down stairs to reach it. This attraction also features a viewing point to the jungle and waterfall at the main entrance.
Ubud
The town of Ubud, in the uplands of Bali, Indonesia, is known as a center for traditional crafts and dance. The surrounding Ubud District’s rainforest and terraced rice paddies, dotted with Hindu temples and shrines, are among Bali’s most famous landscapes. Ancient holy sites include the intricately carved Goa Gajah (“Elephant Cave”) and Gunung Kawi, with its rock-cut shrines.
