Highlights

Godzilla Head
The huge Godzilla head that suddenly appeared in Kabukicho, Shinjuku, was established to convey the charm of the global character Godzilla when the Shinjuku Toho Building started business in April 2015. The Godzilla head placed in the outdoor terrace of the eighth floor is a life size model with a height of 12 meters. It is from the movie ”Godzilla VS Mothra” filmed in 1992, which is a film in the Godzilla series. Toho Eizo Bijutsu, the producer of the movie, made this model that weighs 80 tons with special material reinforced with fiberglass. You can see it from behind the building from Yasukuni Street, which makes you feel like a real life Godzilla has appeared in Shinjuku. If you use the hotel or cafe in the building, you will be able to see the model up close from the terrace. The Shinjuku Toho Building is a five-minute walk from JR Shinjuku Station East exit, or a three-minute walk from Seibu-Shinjuku Station.
Kabukicho
Kabukicho is a famous entertainment district best known for adult-oriented nightlife. Small clubs, smoky pubs, and late-night snack bars are crammed into lantern-lit alleys in Golden Gai. Robot Restaurant hosts kitschy sci-fi dinner shows, while rock bands play at Marz and Ashibe Hall. Daytime visitors can dress up in warrior armor at the Samurai Museum and learn sneaky feudal combat tactics at the Ninja Trick House.
Ninja Shinjuku Ajito
The restaurant & bar, where ninjas serve. It is a traditional Japanese ryotei style, you can enjoy a course of New Japanese cuisine with grill baked with special stone oven. There is also a cave bar with the concept of a hideous ninja's base.
Omoide Yokocho
Landmark alleyway featuring a selection of counter-serve stalls for simple fare & alcoholic drinks.
Shinjuku City
Shinjuku City encompasses the buzzing clubs and karaoke rooms of neon-lit East Shinjuku and upscale hotel bars and restaurants in the Skyscraper District. Tokyo Metropolitan Building has a popular observation deck, and Mount Hakone rises over tranquil urban parkland. Galleries, theaters, and bookstores attract students from busy campuses. New National Stadium is a high-tech sports venue built for the 2020 Olympics.
Shinjuku Golden Gai
Shinjuku Golden Gai is a small area of Kabukicho, Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan, famous both as an area of architectural interest and for its nightlife. It is composed of a network of six narrow alleys, connected by even narrower passageways which are just about wide enough for a single person to pass through.
Shinjuku Samurai Museum
The Samurai Museum is located in Shinjuku, Tokyo, with exhibits featuring swords and armor, and a sword battle experience. The museum brings Japan's samurai history to life as you're introduced to room after room filled with rare swords, armor, helmets and many other historical artifacts. This is also a very hands-on museum - visitors can try on replicas of armor, helmets, and period clothing, providing ample opportunities for historical cosplay and entertaining selfies. In addition to the exhibit rooms, the museum also puts on a twenty-minute show several times a day, where a costumed staff member demonstrates sword technique and samurai etiquette, and then encourages audience members to give it a try.
