Changchun is the capital city of Jilin province in Northeast China. Changchun or “Long Spring” has a population of between 6-7 million people. It is a green city, with extensive gardens and parks and with the largest planted forest in China, Jingyue Park. Puppet Emperor's Palace was the residence of the last emperor in the Qing Dynasty- Puyi. Now it has become an important tourist scenic spot and a base of patriotism education. The main body is a set of two-storied buildings covered with yellow glazed tiles, including Qinming Building, Jixi Building and Tongde Palace. These three buildings are with a unique style combined with Chinese and Western architectural features. The palace can be separated into two parts: the outer palace is a place for political activities and the inner palace is a place for daily life. Now they are museums of antiquities. The outer palace is consisted of Qinmin Building, Huaiyuan Building and Jiale Palace, a place for Puyi to deal with government affairs. Besides, there are gardens, rockeries, fishponds, a swimming pool, a golf course, a tennis court, a racecourse, a painting and calligraphy library and other attached places. The inner palace is a daily life region of Puyi and his relatives.

South Lake Park, located in the southern part of Changchun City, is the second largest city park in the country. Only the Beijing Summer Palace is bigger. Nanhu Park was built in 1933. If you come, you can expect clear water in the park, a green shore, clear scenery in all four seasons, and Quqiao Pavilion to resemble Jiangnan. You will be mesmerized by the back bridge pavilions, lakes, and forests. Enjoy all the events every summer and early autumn, such as the lantern festival and folk customs exhibition. Located in the southern part of Changchun City, World Sculpture Park is a sculpture park built in the center of the city. Zoological and Botanical Garden of Changchun is located in the southeast of Changchun City, formerly known as “Tiger Park”. It was developed from "Xinjing Zoo & Botanical Garden" that was first built in 1938. Apart from various animals and plants, there are an amusement park and miniature Japanese garden. The amusement park includes basic amusement facilities such as Torrent Ride, Turntable, and Bumper Cars. It is a nice place for strolling.
