Highlights

Arrecife
Arrecife is a city and municipality in the Canary Islands (Spain) situated in the center east of the island of Lanzarote, of which it has been the capital since 1852. The city owes its name to the rock reef ('Arrecife' is Spanish for 'reef') which covers the beach located in the city. The city also gives its name to the nearby Arrecife Airport. The population of the municipality is 61351 (2018), its area is 22.72 square kilometers (8.77 sq mi). It is south of Teguise, east of San Bartolomé, and is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean to its southeast. Arrecife is a port town on the east coast, served by ferries to the other islands and also Europe and mainland Africa. The LZ1 road connects Arrecife to the northeast of the island, the LZ2 road connects the capital to the island's southwest, and the LZ3 road serves as the city's beltway. The tallest building in Lanzarote is the Arrecife Gran Hotel, which is located on the seafront alongside the harbour.
Bodega La Geria
Bodega La Geria is located in the heart of the winegrowing area of Lanzarote, known as La Geria, with an unrivaled view of Timanfaya National Park. It was built at the end of the 19th century by the Rijo family and since 1993 it has been directed by its current owners. Since its foundation, it has experienced significant technological changes that have allowed it to produce high-quality wines under the Vinos de Lanzarote Designation of Origin seal. Established, family-operated winery offering tours, tastings, a shop & a tapas restaurant.
Castillo de San Gabriel
The Castillo de San Gabriel (Castle of Saint Gabriel) is located on a tiny island called Islote de los Ingleses (Islet of the English), which can be reached by two causeways, one for traffic and one for pedestrians. On foot, you pass over the Puente de las Bolas (Ball Bridge), a small drawbridge with two cannonballs on top of its pillars. Built originally as a wooden fortress, it proved completely insufficient for any defence purposes and was eventually burnt down by Berber pirates. It was then replaced by a stone castle in the 16th Century, finally playing a vital role in the protection of the harbour and the town. The fortress was declared a National Historic Monument in 1972 and houses a small ethnographic museum. The views from here over the city and the Atlantic Ocean are magnificent.
Jameos del Agua Cave
Jameos del Agua is a series of lava caves, located in the municipality of Haría in northern Lanzarote, Canary Islands, Spain. It is also an art, culture and tourism center, created by local artist and architect, César Manrique, and managed by the government of Lanzarote. Jameos del Agua consists of a subterranean salt lake, restaurant, gardens, emerald-green pool, museum and auditorium.
Timanfaya National Park
Timanfaya National Park is a Spanish national park in the southwestern part of the island of Lanzarote, in the Canary Islands. It covers parts of the municipalities Tinajo and Yaiza. The area is 51.07 square kilometers, and the parkland is entirely made up of volcanic soil.

Your guide will pick you up after leaving the ship and your excursion to Lanzarote starts.

Depart for the National park which is divided into two ecosystems: land and marine.

The other highlight of this private tour is Jameos del Agua, a public space conceived by César Manrique.

At the end of your tour, you return to Arrecife – a great final drive through the volcanic landscape.
