Most of the Chankanaab waterfront is a reef. But for those that like a nice sandy beach, there is a small one. The inlet is like a seawater pool. Children enjoy this part of the park very much. For all of you whose dream is to swim with dolphins, Chankanaab also hosts a Dolphinarium where you can learn about and interact with these marvelous creatures.

With this tour you will begin with a 20 minutes class to explain to you the very basic Communication under the water, how to play with the gear, how to clear the mask and then 45 minutes in a natural environment, it starts at 3 ft where we do the skills and the maximum depth we go is 24 ft is bottom time and no decompression sickness. No strong current and there´s no boat traffic in the area. During the 45 minutes exploration, we can see the school of fish, virgin Mary, the statue of Christ, coral heads, stingrays, lobsters, moray eel, and the best part some caverns with a natural freshwater current. The instructor is the whole time with the group it is certified as an instructor by PADI.
After Diving Get ready to Explore the Chankanaab Park Enjoy the Sea Lion Show, Botanical Gardens, Replicas of some of the best representations of Prehispanic monuments, especially Mayan.
