Highlights

Alcázar de Segovia
The Alcázar of Segovia is a medieval castle located in the city of Segovia, a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Rising out on a rocky crag above the confluence of two rivers near the Guadarrama mountains, it is one of the most distinctive castle-palaces in Spain by virtue of its shape – like the bow of a ship.
Aqueduct of Segovia
The Aqueduct of Segovia is a Roman aqueduct in Segovia, Spain. It is one of the best-preserved elevated Roman aqueducts and the foremost symbol of Segovia, as evidenced by its presence on the city's coat of arms.
Avila
Ávila, capital of the Spanish province of the same name, is a city in the rolling hill country northwest of Madrid. It’s best known for its intact medieval city walls, with 80-plus crenelated, semicircular towers and 9 gates, including the arched El Alcázar, on the eastern side. Long sections atop the walls are walkable. At night, the lighted walls are a distinctive sight.
Casa De Los Picos
This 15th-century building features a facade with 617 granite points & a Renaissance courtyard.
Catedral de Segovia
Segovia Cathedral is the Gothic-style Roman Catholic cathedral located in the main square of the city of Segovia, in the community of Castile-Leon, Spain. The church, dedicated to the Virgin Mary, was built in a Gothic style in the mid-16th century.
Church of Vera Cruz
The church of the True Cross is a Roman Catholic church located in the San Marcos district of the city of Segovia, in the autonomous community of Castile and León, in Spain.
Madrid
Madrid, Spain's central capital, is a city of elegant boulevards and expansive, manicured parks such as the Buen Retiro. It’s renowned for its rich repositories of European art, including the Prado Museum’s works by Goya, Velázquez and other Spanish masters. The heart of old Hapsburg Madrid is the portico-lined Plaza Mayor, and nearby is the baroque Royal Palace and Armory, displaying historic weaponry.
Monasterio del Escorial
The Royal Site of San Lorenzo de El Escorial, commonly known as Monasterio del Escorial, is a historical residence of the King of Spain, in the town of San Lorenzo de El Escorial, about 45 kilometers (28 miles) northwest of the Spanish capital, Madrid. It is one of the Spanish royal sites and functions as a monastery, basilica, royal palace, pantheon, library, museum, university, school, and hospital. Visiting the Monastery of San Lorenzo de El Escorial is the best way to travel through the history of Spain and particularly the reign of Philip II. With an area of 33,327 square metres, it is located on the southern face of Mount Abantos at an altitude of 1028 metres in the Guadarrama mountain range, which gives it considerable scenic value. The Royal Monastery of San Lorenzo de El Escorial has been on the World Heritage list since 2 November 1984.
San Lorenzo del Escorial
San Lorenzo de El Escorial is a town in the Guadarrama mountains of central Spain. The Monastery of El Escorial is a complex of Renaissance buildings, courtyards and fountains. Its Royal Library contains 15th- and 16th-century manuscripts. Infante's House was once a royal hunting lodge. North, near Mount Abantos, a basilica and stone cross in the Valley of the Fallen honor those who died in the Spanish Civil War.
Segovia
Segovia is a historic city northwest of Madrid, in central Spain's Castile and León region. Its centuries of settlement have resulted in a rich architectural legacy, including medieval walls, Romanesque churches, a former royal palace and a Gothic cathedral. Its iconic ancient Roman aqueduct has more than 160 arches, most in the original mortarless granite, and stands above Plaza Azoguejo in the heart of the city.
Valley of the Fallen
The Valle de los Caídos is a Catholic basilica and a monumental memorial in the municipality of San Lorenzo de El Escorial, erected at Cuelgamuros Valley in the Sierra de Guadarrama, near Madrid. Dictator Francisco Franco claimed that the monument was meant to be a "national act of atonement" and reconciliation. It served as the burial place of Franco's remains from his death in November 1975 until his exhumation on 24 October 2019, as a result of efforts to remove all public veneration of his dictatorship, and following a long legal process.
