Taijiang National Park is a place for nature lovers. The newest of the nine National parks of Taiwan, Taijiang National Park, was established in 2009 on the southwest coast of Taiwan and includes a reserve for the black-headed spoonbill, an endangered waterfowl. The park's tidal landscape is one of its most distinctive features and there is a rich variety of marine life. Spend the rest of the day at Anping township. Your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Tainan.
You can start your tour either from the Anping District or from the Taijiang National Park.
Anping is known not only for its deep culture and history, but also for its sunsets, nightlife, beautiful natural scenery, ocean activities, and delicious cuisine. Anping’s main historic sites are Anping Fort, the Eternal Golden Castle, and Anping Tree House.
Upon arrival at Taijiang National Park you will learn from your guide, that 11 species of mammals live here, including the Japanese domestic bat, domestic shrew, large bandicoot rat and others. The Chinese edible frog, the spectacled toad, the common gecko, the Taiwanese beauty rat, and so on – are just some of the amphibians and reptiles found in Taijiang National Park.
There is an activity to have a boat ride through thick mangrove forests to enjoy the sunlight shimmering through the trees and became hundreds of dancing twinkles.
