Dushanbe

Dushanbe, on the Varzob River, is the capital of Tajikistan. On the east bank of the river is Rudaki Park, named for the classical poet. A statue of him stands under an ornate mosaic arch. Nearby is a massive Tajik flag, flying from a towering flagpole. The ancient Tajik warrior Ismoili Somoni is commemorated with a statue and gilded arch. Archaeological finds are displayed at the National Museum of Tajikistan

Dusti Square

The largest and the most elegant square in Dushanbe. In the center stands Ismail Samani monument; nearby is the museum constructed in the honor of the 1,100th anniversary of Samanid state. There is also the House Tajikistan Government.

Flag Pole Park

The world's second-tallest flagpole stands proud despite dropping rank.

Gurminj Museum of Musical Instruments

The Gaming Museum of Musical Instruments ( or Gurminj Museum) is a museum located in the center of Dushanbe, Tajikistan, behind the Office of the Mayor on Bokhtar Street.

The National Museum of Tajikistan is a museum in Dushanbe, the capital city of Tajikistan. The museum has a total area of 24 000 m², of which over 15 000 m² are exhibition halls.

Rudaki park

Extensive Rudaki Park, with its beautiful canopy of mature trees, offers a series of pathways through flower gardens and alongside lakes and fountains. Home to the giant flagpole and a much-photographed statue of Rudaki, and with glorious views of the city's iconic new buildings and monuments, it makes for a great location for a picnic in summer or snowy vistas in winter.
