Overview
The ruins of Hisor were here over 3,000 years old ago and belonging to the XVI century. The city was situated in a strategic point of the Silk Road, it was a center of Hisor province of Bukhara Emirate. Highlights
Hisor
Hisor is a city in western Tajikistan, about 15 km west of Dushanbe. It is the capital of Hisor District, one of the Districts of Republican Subordination. It lies at an altitude of 799–824 m, surrounded by high mountains. The Khanaka River, a tributary to the Kofarnihon River, flows through the town.
Teahouse Kharbuza
Unique in the world, it was built in the form of a melon (the Taj: - kharbuza). The teahouse, with a height of 43 meters, length 100 meters, width of 55 meters, is designed to receive 2.3 thousand visitors at a time.

After visiting Hisar Fortress and its museum you will have to make a stop at fortress square to make horse riding.
The next stop will be at the watermelon “Teahouse” – Teahouse Kharbuza.
