Highlights

Fangsheng Bridge
It is the longest, largest and tallest stone bridge, with five openings both in Zhujiajiao and in the Shanghai region. This bridge was built in 1571. On the bridge stands a stone tablet named Dragon Gate Stone, which is engraved with 8 coiling dragons encircling a shining pearl. On top of the bridge are 4 lifelike stone lions.
Kezhi Garden
Built-in 1912, the owner spent 300,000 taels of silver and 15 years in building the garden. The architecture in the garden is a combination of the Chinese tradition and the Western styles, rarely found in the country. The garden is divided into 2 parts: the Ke Garden and the Zhi Garden. “Ke” in Chinese means “study” and “Zhi” means “farming”, implying that people should study and farm to keep the house. The plant zone, which was open at the end of 2008 after dedicated and elaborated construction, has an area of 103,000 square metres and is condensed from the first phase. Now the rebuilt Jiuqu Bridge, Jingqing Hall, Baifu Booth, Fish-viewing Platform, Ouxiang Loft, and other interests fully display the rural culture of "plantting as well as learning".
Qing Dynasty post office
Qing Dynasty post office, founded during Qing Emperor Tongzhi’s reign(1903), it was one of the 13 major post offices in Shanghai, having gone through the stages of a private post office, a foreign post office, a telegraph office, and a customs post office. It is now the only historical post office site in East China. It is also an epitome of China’s post office in modern history.
Shanghai
Shanghai is one of the four direct-administered municipalities of the People's Republic of China. It is under the direct administration of the State Council of China. The city is located on the southern estuary of the Yangtze, with the Huangpu River flowing through it. With a population of 24.28 million as of 2019, it is the most populous urban area in China and the second-most populous city proper in the world. Shanghai is a global center for finance, technology, innovation, and transportation, and the Port of Shanghai is the world's busiest container port.
Yuanjin Temple
Yuanjin Temple, also known as Temple of Goddess, is a Buddhist temple located in Zhujiajiao, Qingpu District, Shanghai. The temple was originally built in 1341, during the Mongolian-ruling Yuan dynasty (1271–1368). It was rebuilt in the reign of Wanli Emperor (1573–1620) of the Ming dynasty (1368–1644). The temple was enlarged in the Shunzhi (1644–1661) and the Kangxi periods (1662–1722) of the Qing dynasty (1644–1911). In 1658, abbot Tongzheng supervised the restoration of the entire temple complex. Yifeng Hall, Caoxi Humble Cottage, Xigong Hall, Qinghua Pavilion, and other halls were added to the temple. Of them, Qinghua Pavilion was the most prestigious structure. In the early Qing dynasty, the 3rd-generation abbot of the temple and a few of his successors were specialized in either painting, epigraphy, or poetry, so literati and scholars often held poetry saloons and literary discussions in the temple, giving the temple a deep cultural heritage.
Zhujiajiao City
Zhujiajiao is an ancient town located in the Qingpu District of Shanghai. The population of Zhujiajiao is 60,000. Zhujiajiao is a water town on the outskirts of Shanghai and was established about 1,700 years ago. Archaeological findings dating back 5,000 years have also been found. 36 stone bridges and numerous rivers line Zhujiajiao, and many ancient buildings still line the riverbanks today.
