The island Koh Chang occupies most of the Koh Chang district's land area, along with several smaller islands. With an area of 210 km2, Koh Chang is the third-largest island in Thailand by area, after Phuket and Ko Samui. The name Koh Chang means 'Elephant Island' and derives from its elephant-shaped headland. Despite the presence of elephants on the island, they are not indigenous. At present, there are eight villages on the island. Koh Chang is part of an archipelago of 52 islands. It is approximately 30 km long by 14 km, wide. It is part of the Mu Ko Chang National Park, which covers an area of 650 km2, of which 70 percent is offshore.

From the hotel you will be driven to the Koh Mak to board your boat.

You will make a stop near Koh Kut, a paradise verdant island surrounded by turquoise waters. After the anchor will be dropped, you will be instructed and prepared for your first dive. You will have some time to dive and to enjoy the corals reefs and tropical fishes.

Your next stop will be near the island Ko Kood where you will have a chance to find the elephant sculptures submerged under the sea.
