Highlights

Foshan
Foshan is a city near Guangzhou. It has an urban population around 7.2 million in 2012. It forms part of the western side of the Pearl River Delta Economic Zone, which includes Guangzhou to the east and northeast and Zhongshan to the southeast. Foshan is regarded as the home of Cantonese opera, a genre of Chinese opera; Nanquan, a martial art; and lion dancing.
Foshan Ancestral Temple
Foshan Ancestral Temple (known as Zu Miao in Chinese), a famous Daoist temple in the downtown of Foshan City, Guangdong Province in southern China. It is said to be originally built in Northern Song Dynasty, renovated once, and with more than 600 years history till now. It was built for worshiping Beidi, the leader of all gods in Foshan, thus it was called Ancestral Temple. And now it becomes the name card of Foshan city and a must see attraction during Foshan trip. Although the Chinese name ''Zu Miao'' means ''Temple of the Ancestors'', this simply indicates that it is the oldest temple in town, "the ancestor of temples". The rich ceiling decoration with many figures is its most interesting feature.
Foshan Lingnan Tiandi
Foshan Lingnan Tiandi, located in the city center of Foshan in the Guangdong province of southern China, is a mixed-use urban redevelopment undertaken by Shui On Land Limited (SOL). Inspired by other successful redevelopment projects, SOL was committed to leveraging their expertise to the revitalization of Foshan’s Old Town. The project not only preserves the historical and cultural heritage of the area, promoting the city’s unique identity, but also ushers in a modern lifestyle and facilities to the community. Foshan Lingnan Tiandi was designed to be a low-carbon development, minimizing environmental impacts and creating a world-class sustainable community.
Guangzhou
Guangzhou is the capital and the sub-provincial city of Guangdong Province in the southern part of the People's Republic of China. The city is also known by an older English-language name, Canton. It is a port on the Pearl River, navigable to the South China Sea, and is located about 120 km (75 miles) northwest of Hong Kong. As of the 2000 census, the city has a population of 6 million, and a metropolitan population of roughly 8.5 million (though some estimates are as high as 12.6 million) making it the most populous city in the province and the third most populous metropolitan area in mainland China.
Nanfeng Ancient Kiln
Nanfeng Kiln is a tourist attraction in the Ancient Nanfeng Kiln Cultural and Creative Zone, which is located in Shiwan Town, Chancheng District, Foshan city, Guangdong province of China. It was built in the Ming Dynasty Zhengde period (1506–1521),[1] and has been continuously firing Shiwan ware for over 500 years so far. In the old days, the local people recalled Shiwan's kilns as firing ceramics stoves. There are many kinds of kilns, but the most famous ones are dragon kilns, since their shapes look like the huge flying dragon. Ancient Nanfeng Kiln's mouth faces southwards, while banyan trees are clustered at the back of the Furnace, and cold wind will do occur in the summer, therefore, it's called "Nanfeng Kiln".
