Your Private tour will start from the port, where (time permitting) you will have a panoramic tour on the way to Rostock, when you arrive in Rostock you will begin your walking tour of the City. The biggest city in the area, Rostock is an historic town of nearly 800 years with a well preserved and lively town center. You will explore the city on foot, & see the town hall, wall and gates, monastery of the Holy Cross as well as the university. One of the highlights of your tour will be to see St. Marien Church with its astromical clock of 1472. Your tour guide will show you the most important sites & detail the development of the city in the time East and West Germany. Rostock is an historic yet modern city with a rich cultural variety.
Time permitting you will then have some free time to explore on your own, plus browse the many shops, before stopping for Lunch.
After lunch you will transfer to Schwerin. Here you will take a wander around the charming old town with its bustling market square. View the Cathedral, Government Buildings (federal state government), & former residence of the Duke of Mecklenburg. You will get the opportunity to see the villas around Pfaffenteich & the Palace Gardens. Included within this tour will be an inside visit to Schwerin Castle. You will be able to explore the Castle on your own before taking time for lunch (included).
At the end of your tour, you will return to Warnemunde.
