Highlights

Brady's lookout
A unique attraction in the Tamar Valley, Brady's Lookout was once the hideout for bushranger Mathew Brady. With ample parking, BBQ, toilets, all-access ramps, and viewing platforms, this is a great spot for a selfie or a picnic lunch. Views up and down the Tamar River with the vista extending over 120kms to Ben Lomond massif in the south and almost all the way to the coast and the Bass Strait to the north.
Launceston

Launceston City Park
Launceston City Park is a park in Launceston, Tasmania, Australia. Established in the 1820s by the Launceston Horticultural Society and handed over to the Launceston City Council in 1863. It is now an important part of cultural life in Launceston and also a heritage park.

The Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery (QVMAG) is a museum located in Launceston, Tasmania, Australia. The QVMAG is the largest museum in Australia not located in a capital city. Established in 1891, the Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery has a strong reputation for its collection which includes fine exhibitions of colonial art, contemporary craft and design, Tasmanian history and natural sciences, specifically a zoology collection. There is also a special exhibition of a full Chinese temple that was used by 19th-century Chinese tin miners, a working planetarium, and displays related to Launceston's industrial environment and railway workshops.

The first place you will visit will be the Cataract Gorge Reserve. There you will have a South Esk river cruise. You will admire the picturesque river gorge and surrounded landscapes from the water and then by your foot.

Then the guide will head you towards Launceston City park to enjoy centuries-old trees, gardens, statues, fountains, a Monkey Island -home to the group of macaques, and magnificent buildings such as the Queen Victoria Museum and Albert Hall. The tour will continue to the entertaining Swiss Village in the Tamar Valley. It is a resort where all houses were built in Swedish style.
