You will be met at the port and guided you to your air-conditioned transportation ready to commence your tour.
This half-day shore excursion begins with a drive to the old fortified city of Vittoriosa and an opportunity see the 14th-Century St Lawrence’s Church. You’ll then visit Marsaxlokk – Malta’s largest fishing village. Here, you can enjoy some free time to wander through the colourful marketplace or simply relax and watch the fishing boats. A drive through tiny pretty villages will take you to the Blue Grotto view point, a system of sea caverns with fantastic light reflections inside and a beautiful large arch. The tour will stop here for you to observe the stunning colours and light changes. From here, you’ll travel to Malta’s highest point, Dingli Cliffs. Observe the stunning views before the tour moves on to Rabat and around the perimeter of Mdina, which was once Malta’s capital city. Your tour then takes you back through the countryside to Mosta, which is located in the centre of the island and is famous for its dome.
You will be taken back to port in plenty of time to rejoin your cruise ship.
