Highlights

Bixia Temple
Bixia Temple locates on the summit of Mount Tai, and it has two yards. There are five major halls and 360 bronze tiles, representing 365 days of a year. In the very middle of the hall enshrines the statue of Goddess Bixia, which was founded in Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). On both sides sit the statues of Eyesight Empress and Child-sending Empress. The architecture of Bixia Temple is a sparkling star in the history of ancient architectural arts.
Daimiao Temple
Situated to the north of Tai'an City, the Dai Temple is a Taoist temple as well as the largest and best-preserved architectural complex on Taishan Mountain. Also called the East Dai Temple, it is one of the four most famous ancient architectural complexes including the Forbidden City in Beijing, the Temple of Confucius, the Kong Family Mansion and the cemetery of Confucius in Qufu, and the Mountain Resort in Chengde.
Mount Tai
Mount Tai is a mountain of historical and cultural significance located north of the city of Tai'an, in Shandong province, China. The tallest peak is the Jade Emperor Peak, which is commonly reported as 1,545 metres tall, but is described by the PRC government as 1,532.7 metres.
Qingdao
Qingdao is regarded by some Chinese as one of the most beautiful and clean cities in China. It has a population of around 3.5 million (8 million regional) and is the largest city in Shandong Province. The name Qingdao means The Blue/Green Island. In 2012, Qingdao was named China's most livable city. While Qingdao has a long history, the eastern half of the city has been built since 1993, and there is no sign of it slowing down. In 2008, it hosted the sailing events of the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. Qingdao is an ideal destination if you want to combine sea-side fun with your trip to China. Qingdao does not have swarming markets, unpredictable traffic and intense street commerce. The city is relatively clean and orderly and might give the impression of an upcoming wanna-be Singapore.
Tai'an
Tai'an is a prefecture-level city in Western Shandong Province of the People's Republic of China. Centered on Mount Tai, the city borders the provincial capital of Jinan to the north, Zibo to the east, Linyi to the southeast, Liaocheng to the extreme west and Jining to the south. To the west, Tai'an is separated from the province of Henan by the Yellow River.
