Highlights

Denpasar
Denpasar is the capital city and main hub of the Indonesian province of Bali, in the southern part of the island. Laid-back Sanur Beach on the east coast offers sunrise views. The nearby Pura Blanjong Temple contains a stone pillar with a 10th-century inscription. The Bali Museum displays a large collection of Balinese cultural artifacts, including traditional costumes and religious items.
Lempuyang Temple
Lempuyang Temple or Pura Lempuyang Luhur is one of Bali’s oldest and most venerated temples, on par with Besakih (the ‘mother temple’ of Bali). The temple is also believed to predate the majority of Hindu temples on the island. A highlight on any travel itinerary for the fit and adventurous, the main temple lies at 1,175 metres above sea level, on the peak of the namesake Mount Lempuyang in East Bali. The heights are reachable via a steep staircase of over 1,700 steps, with attractions along the way that include several other temples and hordes of grey long-tailed macaques that inhabit the surrounding cool mountain forests.
Mount Agung
Standing majestically on the eastern seaboard of Bali is the island’s highest mountain: Gunung Agung or Mount Agung, located in the district of Karangasem. With its summit reaching a height of 3,031 meters above sea level, Mt. Agung affects its surrounding climate. Its western slopes catch the rain clouds making the west side lush and fertile, while its eastern slopes remain dry and barren. The Balinese believe that Mt. Agung is the abode of the gods, and the volcano, therefore, is revered as sacred. It is on this mountain that the mother of all temples in Bali is located, called Pura Besakih. Entering the temple one has to climb hundreds of steps before reaching the main gate. But, fortunately, other staircases with easier climbs are available to make it easier for women carrying high mountains of offerings on their heads to reach the temple.
Taman Tirta Gangga
Taman Tirta Gangga, a royal water palace, forms the heart of a small village surrounded by rice terraces seven kilometres north of Amlapura. The palace was built to preserve the sanctity of a natural spring considered holy by the Balinese and to provide a place of contemplation, relaxation and fun for visitors. The calming gardens are a great opportunity to take a breather from busy sightseeing — you might even go for a dip.
Tegallalang rice terraces
The Tegallalang Rice Terraces in Ubud are famous for their beautiful scenes of rice paddies and their innovative irrigation system. Scenic, terraced hillside offering rice paddies amid lush greenery, plus zip lines & jungle swings.
Tukad Cepung waterfall
Tukad Cepung Waterfall is located in the eastern part of Bali in Jalan Tembuku, Dusun Penida Kelod, Tembuku, Bangli regency, Bali, Indonesia. It's about 1 hour 13 min from Denpasar City or 1 hour 26 min from Denpasar Ngurah Rai International Airport.
