Highlights

Docomo Tower
The NTT Docomo Yoyogi Building is a skyscraper located in the Sendagaya district of Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan. At 240 meters (790 ft) tall, it is the fourth tallest building in Tokyo. The building houses some offices, but is mainly used to house technical equipment (switching equipment, etc.) for the company's cellular telephone service. To commemorate NTT Docomo's 10th anniversary, a 15-meter-diameter clock was put into operation in November 2002. Solar energy is partially used to power the building. A garbage separation system employed within the office helps to reduce waste and increase the recycling rate.
Meiji Jingu Gaien
Meiji Jingu Gaien is the most popular spot for autumn leaves viewing in the central area of Tokyo, which is famous for the avenue lined with Ginkgo trees. It’s located in Aoyama area, which can be accessed easily from Shibuya, Harajuku and Roppongi area. Approx 150 Ginkgo trees are lined on this avenue for about 300 m with 2 lanes. Even though the best viewing time is about 2 weeks from mid November, the scenery is still enjoyable after the leaves fall down and creates gorgeous natural golden carpet. During the peak season, Jingu Gaien Ginkgo Festival “Icho Matsuri” is held from mid November to early December annually.
National Art Center Tokyo
The National Art Center, Tokyo is located in the Roppongi district at the center of Tokyo. The building is made up of seven enormous column-less display rooms, each 2000 m², a library, an auditorium, a restaurant, a café and a museum shop. The floor area of the National Art Center, Tokyo totals 45,000 m², making it Japan’s largest museum. The National Art Center is not a space for archiving works of art, but is a space for exhibiting public open exhibits and traveling exhibits. The atrium connects with the Roppongi downtown as one part of the street, perhaps to be an element of Roppongi’s famous nightlife.
Roppongi Hills
Roppongi Hills is a development project in Tokyo and one of Japan's largest integrated property developments, located in the Roppongi district of Minato, Tokyo. Constructed by building tycoon Minoru Mori, the mega-complex incorporates office space, apartments, shops, restaurants, cafés, movie theatres, a museum, a hotel, a major TV studio, an outdoor amphitheatre, and a few parks. The centerpiece is the 54-story Mori Tower. Mori's stated vision was to build an integrated development where high-rise inner-urban communities allow people to live, work, play, and shop in proximity to eliminate commuting time. He argued that this would increase leisure time, quality of life, and benefit Japan's national competitiveness. Seventeen years after the design's initial conception, the complex opened to the public on April 25, 2003.
Shinjuku City
Shinjuku City encompasses the buzzing clubs and karaoke rooms of neon-lit East Shinjuku and upscale hotel bars and restaurants in the Skyscraper District. Tokyo Metropolitan Building has a popular observation deck, and Mount Hakone rises over tranquil urban parkland. Galleries, theaters, and bookstores attract students from busy campuses. New National Stadium is a high-tech sports venue built for the 2020 Olympics.
Suga Shrine
Suga Shrine is a Shinto shrine located in Shinjuku, Tokyo. The stairway leading to it appears in Your Name. In the Edo period, the Suga Shrine was originally the Gozutennou shrine and the Inari shrine. After the Meiji Restoration, they became enshrined together to become the Suga Shrine. The stairway of the shrine appears at the end of the movie, at which Taki Tachibana and Mitsuha Miyamizu fatefully encounter each other physically for the first time.

Itinerary

12:30

You will start your trip at Yotsuya Station where you will meet your guide.

The first location on the itinerary is the Hozoji Temple where the main characters of the movie were searching for each other. The next is the Tofukuin Hill shown in the very next scene. After that you will get to Suga Shrine which is shown in the poster. Here you might find a lot of other fans from all over the world.

Next is time to see Docomo Tower. By the way, it’s connected not only to ‘Your Name’ but to a number of other anime movies. Try to remember some of them. After that you will get to the pedestrian bridge. Do you remember which scene was shown here?

The Meiji Jingu Gaien avenue is probably one of the most charming locations on your itinerary and one of the important locations of ‘Your Name’. As long as you continue your trip following the traces of the anime story, you will also get to the National Art Center and right after that Roppongi Hills.

Your tour will come to an end 5 hours later.
