Areekkal waterfalls
Areekkal falls is a must-see beautiful place in Kochi. Its 35 kilometers away from the main city on the Ernakulam – Thodupuzha road. Kochi

Piravom
Piravom is a municipality in Ernakulam district and a suburb of Kochi in the state of Kerala, India. It is situated around 30 km southeast of the Kochi city center and around 40 km north of Kottayam. Piravom is famous for historic Hindu temples and Syrian Christian churches and is believed as the birthplace of Adi Shankara. The town lies 20 km from Muvattupuzha. Piravom is located at the boundary between two districts, Ernakulam and Kottayam.
St.Thomas Jacobite Syrian Cathedral
Mulanthuruthy Marthoman Syrian Orthodox Cathedral Church is located at Mulanthuruthy in the Ernakulam district of Kerala. Under the jurisdiction of the Syrian Orthodox Church and it is a pilgrimage centre for both members of the Indian Orthodox Church and the Jacobite Syrian Christian Church and the home parish of Saint Gheevarghese Mar Gregorios of Parumala, a religious leader of Syrian Orthodox Christians and on 10 December 1876, the Patriarch of Antioch, Ignatius Peter IV, promoted the 28-year old Gregorios to be a bishop, at which point his official name became Geevarghese Mar Gregorios. His youth caused him to be referred to as Kochu Thirumeni (Young Bishop). The church was built in 1550 by the Knanaya Tharakan (minister) Kunchacko of the Kunnassery Family.
