Highlights

Pokhara
Pokhara is a city on Phewa Lake, in central Nepal. It’s known as a gateway to the Annapurna Circuit, a popular trail in the Himalayas. Tal Barahi Temple, a 2-story pagoda, sits on an island in the lake. On the eastern shore, the Lakeside district has yoga centers and restaurants. In the city’s south, the International Mountain Museum has exhibits on the history of mountaineering and the people of the Himalayas.

The guide will pick you up from your hotel within the Lakeside area of Pokhara.

During this small-group, an 8-hour guided Tibetan tour you will get a unique opportunity to spend a day in a local Tibetan community inside Pokhara Valley with a genuine Tibetan guide. Visit two different Tibetan villages around Pokhara valley and discover the arts and crafts of the Tibetan Plateau.

Visit a monastery and talk with a Buddhist monk, taste Tibetan food with a local family.

At a small noodle workshop, you will see how Tibetans make their favourite noodles.

At the end of the tour return back to your hotel in Pokhara.
