Highlights

Nami Island
Namiseom or Nami Island, designed with the concept of "Storybook Land, Song Island," hosts cultural events, concerts, and exhibitions all year round. The island aims to promote dreams and hopes in children, and love and memories in couples. Main cultural facilities include Song Museum, Picture Book Playground, Art Shop, and UNICEF Hall. Guests can travel the island in comfort by riding on the UNICEF Train, or the Story Tour Bus. Namiseom also has restaurants offering various cuisine, and accommodations for overnight stays.
Petite France
Petite France is a cute French cultural village located in Gapyeong mostly known as the filming location of popular Korean dramas: "Beethoven Virus (2008)" "Secret Garden (2011)" and "My Love from the stars (2014)" It also serves guesthouses. Mostly related with the famous French novel "The Little Prince" by Antoine de Saint Exupery, this village has souvenir shops, cafes, restaurants, special galleries and museums such as traditional French house, Antique shop, Doll house and Oregol house that you can look at. There's also a central outdoor theater where you can sit down. Because the K-drama "My Love from the Stars" was such a hit, there's a photo zone where you can pose as Kim Soo Hyun and Jeon Ji Hyun. Plenty of places to sit and look at the view of the Cheongpyeong lake as well.
Seoul
Seoul, officially the Seoul Special City, is the capital and largest metropolis of South Korea. Seoul has a population of 9.7 million people, and forms the heart of the Seoul Capital Area with the surrounding Incheon metropolis and Gyeonggi province. Considered to be a global city and rated as an Alpha - City by GaWC, Seoul was the world's 4th largest metropolitan economy with a GDP of US$635 billion
The Garden of Morning Calm
The Garden of Morning Calm s an arboretum located at the east of Seoul, in the Gapyeong district of South Korea. On 300,000 m², it houses 5,000 species of plants, some rare or endangered and attracts 600,000 tourists per year. The name of this garden reminds that Korea is often nicknamed the "country of the morning calm". There are different festivals in this garden, especially in winter with a light festival. Designed in 1996 by professor Han San-kyung of Sahmyook University with the ambition of spreading the Korean interpretation of beauty, it is an artistic space based on concepts of asymmetry and balance. It is divided into twenty sections. The Garden of Plants, for example, is home to about 1,000 species of flowers from all over Korea. The most popular part is Sukgeun Garden, which takes the shape of the Korean peninsula, symbolizing the desire for reunification.
