Highlights

Karon View Point
Karon View Point is located in the southwest of Phuket. This is perhaps the most popular location on the island, from where most of the panoramic images posted on the Internet are taken. It can be easily explained - the place is located on the road leading from the western beaches to the southern ones, and anyone passing by can see it.
Phuket
Phuket is one of the southern provinces (changwat) of Thailand. It consists of the island of Phuket, the country's largest island, and another 32 smaller islands off its coast. It lies off the west coast of Thailand in the Andaman Sea. Phuket Island is connected by the Sarasin Bridge to Phang Nga Province to the north. The next nearest province is Krabi, to the east across Phang Nga Bay. Phuket Province has an area of 576 square kilometres (222 sq mi), somewhat less than that of Singapore, and is the second-smallest province of Thailand. The island was on one of the major trading routes between India and China, and was frequently mentioned in foreign ships' logs of Portuguese, French, Dutch, and English traders, but was never colonised by a European power. It formerly derived its wealth from tin and rubber and now from tourism.
Phuket Big Buddha
Phuket Big Buddha, or The Great Buddha of Phuket, is a seated Maravija Buddha statue in Phuket, Thailand. The official name is Phra Phutta Ming Mongkol Akenakiri, shortened to Ming Mongkol Buddha. Sitting atop Nakkerd Hill (sometimes Nagakerd) near Chalong, construction began in 2004. Expansion of the base was ongoing as of 2015. By 2017, 80 percent of the project had been completed. It is the third-tallest statue in Thailand behind only the Great Buddha of Thailand and Luangpho Yai.
Phuket Thai Hua Museum
The Thai Hua Museum occupies one of the most beautiful and well-preserved Sino-Portuguese mansions in Phuket Town. The recently renovated building once served as a school for the children of Chinese immigrants. Today it is a museum, exhibition hall and special event area.
Promthep Cape
Promthep Cape is known as an observation deck and is the southernmost part of Phuket Island, located between Rawai and Yanui beaches.
Wat Chalong
The most important of the 29 buddhist temples of Phuket is Wat Chalong or formally Wat Chaiyathararam, located in the Chalong Subdistrict, Mueang Phuket District. It is dedicated to two highly venerable monks, Luang Pho Chaem and Luang Pho Chuang, who led the citizens of Chalong Subdistrict fighting against the Chinese rebellion in 1876 and with their knowledge of herbal medicine helped the injured. The large market at Wat Chalong extends into the grounds of the temple and features amplified pop music and Thai-fighting advertisements. The temple sells trinkets to visitors and the monks assist by storing boxes of items in their main prayer hall.
Windmill Viewpoint
The Windmill Viewpoint is located in the south of Phuket next to the Promthep Alternative Energy Station on the island. From the top, you will see a beautiful panorama of a small island of Ko Man, Nai Harn and Yanui beaches.
Ya Nui Beach
Ya Nui Beach lies between Promthep Cape and Windmill Viewpoint, 2 of Phuket's most popular viewpoints. It's a charming little cove offering good snorkelling, kayaking, and fishing. The sand is soft and comfortable, with plenty of shells for kids to collect.
