Colón
Colón is the capital of Colón Province, in Panama. It sits on the Caribbean coast, at the entrance to the Panama Canal. The Canal Expansion Observation Center is a park with viewing platforms over the canal’s Atlantic locks and Gatún Lake. The vast Colón Free Trade Zone offers tax-free shopping. Isla Grande is a small island and corregimiento in Portobelo District, Colón Province, Panama, off the Caribbean coast. It had a population of 1,037 as of 2010. Its population as of 1990 was 626; its population as of 2000 was 1,055.
Portobelo
Portobelo is a historic port and corregimiento in Portobelo District, Colón Province, Panama, Central America, with a population of 4,559 as of 2010. Located on the northern part of the Isthmus of Panama, it is 32 km northeast of the modern port of Colón now at the Atlantic entrance to the Panama Canal.

The tour will also take in the Portobelo church which contains the “Black Christ” which is a symbol of their Christianity and you will also visit the customs offices where treasures would be stored in days gone by.

The second part of the tour will take you to Isla Grande and you will get there by traveling on a water taxi or Cayuco.

When you arrive there you can try a tasty Caribbean drink and lunch and either snorkel, swim, explore your surroundings or just relax on the sun-kissed beach before returning to port at the end of the day, the choice is yours!
