You will be met at the cruise port.
You will begin your tour with a scenic drive through the picturesque countryside of Chania as you make your way to the lovely quaint Cretan vineyard. As you arrive, you will be greeted by a local expert who will provide you with all the knowledge about the processing of the wines, harvest to the bottling. Whilst you are at the vineyard the local expert will tell you all about the wines you will taste, be amazed by the different cultural ways of the winery vineyard, discover how the different varieties of grapes are cultivated as well as the winery itself! You will also have the opportunity to learn about the history behind the winery, from the wine to the organic cultivation philosophy. The tour does not end here, you will have the chance to taste the local produce of the 5 wines, whilst your taste buds are tingling, have the chance to accompany your wine with some traditional nibbles, Cretan Rusks and Cretan Olives chosen to compliment the taste between the delicious wines. As you are sampling the local produce, have the chance to take in some breathtaking views around the vineyard of the Cretan countryside. Once the tasting of the wines has come to an end, sit back and relax as you make your way back to the port.
As you are taken back to the port, take in the beautiful quaint villages of Chania on your scenic drive. Your knowledgeable guide will commentary on the way about the history and information about this lovely island. You will then be returned to the port in plenty of time for your cruise ships departure.
