The tour will then continue with a scenic drive to one of the Gold Souq markets, passing by the Dhow Harbour the drive will take in the true ambiance of the area whilst your guide will be giving you information on the locals, how they work, and what is rich to the area.
Once we have arrived at the Gold Souq Market there will be free time to enter to have a look around and barter with the market stands if you wish! The market offers many unique and expensive chains, bangles, and bridal jewelry.
You will then head to Souq Waqif, a market selling traditional and local garments, spices, handicrafts, and souvenirs. This Souq was renovated in 2006 to conserve its traditional architectural style. There will be time to spend in the Souq to browse before the tour moves on to the next stop.
The tour will then move on to Pearl Qatar, an extraordinary artificial manmade island created in a shape of an oyster, here we will stop for a photo opportunity.
Our final stop is the Katara, a village located in Doha, situated on the East coast between West Bay and the Pearl, also known as the Valley of Cultures, and one of the most visited places in Doha by tourists. This village attracts visitors due to its conventional architecture and ‘retro’ style buildings.
At the end of the tour, you will be taken back to your cruise ship in plenty of time for your cruise ship’s departure.
