Overview

Once you reach San Gimignano you will find a small, walled hilltop town famous for its medieval architecture and imposing towers – constructed as status symbols of the wealthy. Explore the narrow streets and be tempted by the local pottery and souvenirs. Maybe stop to sample the local cuisine. Free time here is yours to do as you wish.

From here you will move on to Siena, a city center made up of narrow, winding streets and old buildings and palaces. Wander the traditional and historic city center and you are sure to stumble upon the magnificent Siena Cathedral and Piazzo del Campo. Take time to relax in one of the many traditional cafes with a coffee or limoncello before returning to the cruise port in plenty of time for your ship’s departure.
