Highlights
Itinerary
10:00
From Limassol, you’ll drive through the citrus plantations of Phassouri, where the air is filled with the sweets scents of lemons and limes. You’ll climb through foothills where the rolling slopes are covered in vineyards and wineries, and pass through hidden villages far off the regular tourists’ maps. This secret Cyprus is almost made for the camera, and there will be plenty of chances to stop for some stunning photographs.
As you climb higher, the vine lands become pine forests, and the air becomes a little cooler. You’ll continue down narrow lanes and smaller dirt tracks across the enchanting terrain, with the Land Rover putting almost no restrictions on where you can travel.
You’ll visit little-known attractions, like the stone-built Venetian bridge of Tselefos in a pine-clad river valley, drive through vibrant and abandoned villages, and splash your way down sparkling streams and through narrow forest trails.
After five hours, you’ll return to port, confident that you’ve seen a beautiful part of Cyprus that the visitor seldom has a chance to discover.
