Next, drive to the Berber village of Inzegane for a visit to the souks and the traditional handicraft shops.
From here, travel to the Souk of the bustling Bab El Had, protected by the shade of woven screens.
Pause at the souk for a chance to take photographs before continuing to the New Medina. Designed by the distinguished artist Beato Salvatore “Coco” Polizzi, a lover of Berber culture, this district boasts inviting cafes, an arts and crafts gallery, a small hotel, and workshops where artisans fashion treasures from wood, iron, tile, and clay.
