Tour the historical city with a gigantic cat statue, the mascot of Kuching city at Padungan, and drive through China Town. Visit the ornately decorated Tua Pek Kong Chinese Temple, which was one of the few buildings that survived the 1884 Great Fire of Kuching. Build back in 1843 and is said to have the best Feng Shui location in the city with a good view of the imposing Fort Margherita.

Continue on with drive passing by traditional Malay houses built on stilts. On a lookout for the majestic looking across the river, Astana, the former palace of White Rajah, now the official residence of the Governor of Sarawak (built-in 1870), the Clock Tower, and a granite obelisk built-in memory of Rajah Charles Brooke.
Visit the Sarawak Museum, the highlight of the tour, acknowledge to be one of the finest museums in Malaysia.
