Overview

You will begin you Full day tour with approx 3 hours drive to reach Marrakech. Your knowledgeable guide will take you on a sightseeing tour of the city's most historic landmarks. First on your tour will be an exterior view of the Koutoubia Mosque, the largest Mosque in Marrakech. The mosque has many names and includes a large plaza and gardens, and beautiful curved windows.

Highlights

Djemaa el-Fna Square
Jemaa el-Fnaa is a square and market place in Marrakesh's medina quarter. It remains the main square of Marrakesh, used by locals and tourists.
Majorelle Gardens
The Majorelle Garden is a two and half acre botanical garden and artist's landscape garden in Marrakech, Morocco. It was created by the French Orientalist artist Jacques Majorelle over almost forty years, starting in 1923, and features a Cubist villa designed by the French architect, Paul Sinoir in the 1930s.
Marrakesh
Marrakesh, a former imperial city in western Morocco, is a major economic center and home to mosques, palaces and gardens. The medina is a densely packed, walled medieval city dating to the Berber Empire, with mazelike alleys where thriving souks (marketplaces) sell traditional textiles, pottery and jewelry. A symbol of the city, and visible for miles, is the Moorish minaret of 12th-century Koutoubia Mosque.
Menara Gardens
The Menara Gardens are a historic public garden and orchard in Marrakech, Morocco. They were established in the 12th century by the Almohad Caliphate ruler Abd al-Mu'min. Along with the Agdal Gardens and the historic walled city of Marrakesh, the gardens have been listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985.
Saadian Tombs
The Saadian Tombs are a historic royal necropolis in Marrakesh, Morocco, located on the south side of the Kasbah Mosque, inside the royal kasbah district of the city.
The Koutoubia Mosque
The Kutubiyya Mosque or Koutoubia Mosque is the largest mosque in Marrakesh, Morocco. The mosque's name is also variably rendered as Jami' al-Kutubiyah, Kutubiya Mosque, Kutubiyyin Mosque, and Mosque of the Booksellers.

Continuing your tour you will then head to Menara Gardens to admire the pyramid-shaped pavilion. Established in the 12th Century, the pavilion and lake are surrounded by olive groves and orchids and are truly a magical sight to see.

You will explore the Saadian Tombs of the 15ths century and the gardens of Bahia Palace. Discovered in the early 1920s, the tombs are one of Marrakech’s major tourist attractions. Included here is the most visited room with the 12 columns and contains the grave of the Sultans sun.

It will then be time for lunch, which is payable on the day, and your guide will be able to point out the best places to eat.

Take a stroll through the streets of the medina and see many traditional shops & artisan workshops, before arriving at the vast Djemaa el-Fna Square. Soak up the atmosphere of this public square and enjoy entertainment from storytellers, singers, acrobats, snake charmers, monkey tamers, and much more.

You will then take a drive along the city ramparts, to see one of the most famous gates of Marrakech & stop to explore the exquisite Majorelle Gardens. Work began on these wonderful botanical gardens in the early 1920s and include many impressive fountains, pools, & forests of bamboo trees.

At the end of the tour, you will be returned to the port to re-join your ship in plenty of time.
