Itinerary

Your first stop will be the ruins of Termessos. This ancient Pisidian city is set high in the Taurus mountains, at an altitude of more than 1000 meters, on the natural plateau of Gulluk Dagi. Mythology says that the city was founded by the Greek hero, Bellerophon, known for defeating Chimera. Without considering the legends, it is true that the modern Termessos is one of the best-preserved of the ancient cities of Turkey.
You will approach the city via the steep main road, through the famous Yenice pass, into the town’s fine main square, with its impressive ancient theatre and stunning views across the Pamphylian plain. Explore the Odeon, temples, cemeteries, and houses from the Hellenic and Roman periods.
Your journey back down the mountain takes you through the beautiful landscapes of the Termessos National Park, where dense pine forests and rare wild plants frame the rugged landscape.
Finally, you will discover Duden Falls, where the mountain streams that have shared your journey down from the peaks reach the Mediterranean in a series of spectacular waterfalls falling from the rocky clifftops. A beautiful spectacle to end a fascinating day’s tour.
