Overview

This tour is one of the most ideal speed boat snorkeling tours simply because Rok and Haa are outlying islands from Phuket. Koh Rok and Koh Haa Islands are amazing and because they are remote and not crowded, it is still a healthful ocean environment here with more vibrant coral and more fish species than you can see in the really busy island tours.

Highlights

Koh Ha
Before it became relatively well known, the main Ha Island was a shelter for Sea Gypsies and local fishermen. Its harbour provided a safe spot for them to avoid big storms as there are not really any other nearby islands in this area of the Andaman Sea. Koh Ha was original known in the Malay language as Tuk Narima Island.
Koh Rok
The 2 Rok Islands – Koh Rok Nai and Koh Rok Nok – are tiny paradises 30 km south of Koh Lanta. Small, rugged, and mostly unspoiled, they're home to an impressive coral reef system, pristine white-sand beaches, a small ranger’s station, a restaurant, and very little else. While there's some accommodation available so that you can stay on the island, this is mostly in the form of tents and a few bungalows.
Koh Rok Nai
This popular island destination is known for its white sandy beaches, clear waters & snorkeling.
Pakrong Bay
Providing easy access to the stunning reef, Pakrong Bay is another top snorkelling spot in Koh Rok. In addition to the smaller, colourful fish, lucky visitors might see moray eels, sea turtles, and sea snakes. It’s also sometimes possible to see whale sharks and black tip reef sharks in the waters around Koh Rok.
Phuket
Phuket is one of the southern provinces (changwat) of Thailand. It consists of the island of Phuket, the country's largest island, and another 32 smaller islands off its coast. It lies off the west coast of Thailand in the Andaman Sea. Phuket Island is connected by the Sarasin Bridge to Phang Nga Province to the north. The next nearest province is Krabi, to the east across Phang Nga Bay. Phuket Province has an area of 576 square kilometres (222 sq mi), somewhat less than that of Singapore, and is the second-smallest province of Thailand. The island was on one of the major trading routes between India and China, and was frequently mentioned in foreign ships' logs of Portuguese, French, Dutch, and English traders, but was never colonised by a European power. It formerly derived its wealth from tin and rubber and now from tourism.
