Highlights

Akrotiri
The Akrotiri peninsula has a series of pebble coves formed from volcanic rock, including the renowned Red Beach, with striking cliffs stained by iron ore. Akrotiri Lighthouse is noted for its sunset views, and the remains at Akrotiri Prehistoric Village date back to Minoan times. Chic hillside guesthouses and beach apartments overlook seafood tavernas, dive centers, and tour-boat operators along the shore.
Santorini
Santorini is one of the Cyclades islands in the Aegean Sea. It was devastated by a volcanic eruption in the 16th century BC, forever shaping its rugged landscape. The whitewashed, cubiform houses of its 2 principal towns, Fira and Oia, cling to cliffs above an underwater caldera (crater). They overlook the sea, small islands to the west and beaches made up of black, red and white lava pebbles.

Itinerary

10:00

We then continue to the edge of the Caldera on the South part of Santorini for a brief photo stop to admire the enchanting, incredible views this destination has to offer, before continuing to the village of Akrotiri.

Once in Akrotiri, we head towards the restaurant for a cooking class based on Santorinian cuisine.  Learn how to make some of the most popular dishes such as Tzatziki sauce, Greek Ntakos, Fava Beans, local Zucchini, and much more before sitting down to eat a traditional Santorinian meal.
