Highlights

Honningsvag
Honningsvåg is the northernmost town in mainland Norway. It is located in Nordkapp Municipality in Troms og Finnmark county. It is also one of the smallest cities in Norway. Honningsvåg is situated at a bay on the southeastern side of the large island of Magerøya, while the famous North Cape and its visitor center are on the northern side of the island. Honningsvåg is a port of call for cruise ships, especially in the summer months. The ice-free ocean (southwestern part of the Barents Sea) provides rich fisheries and tourism is also important to the town.
Kamøyvær
Kamøyvær is a fishing village in Nordkapp Municipality in Troms og Finnmark county, Norway. The village lies along the Kamøyfjorden on the east side of the island of Magerøya, about 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) northwest of the town of Honningsvåg. It sits at the end of a cul-de-sac road, the Norwegian County Road 172. About 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) south of the village, the road meets the European route E69, the main road leading to the North Cape. The village is sheltered from the open sea by the islands of Lille Kamøya and Store Kamøya, the water between the village and the latter being called the Østersundet. There are around 70 inhabitants in the village. Although there are no ethnic distinctions today, the people of the village are descended from coastal Sami and Kven as well as Norwegians. In the summer of 2012, the labour force in the village included people from the Baltic states. A small hotel/guesthouse called the Arran, owned by a Sami family occupies three blue-painted buildings in the centre of the village. One of them is right on the waters of the harbour and the other two are just across the road. The top floor of a house in the centre of the village contains an art gallery called the Gallery East of the Sun which displays and sells the work of a German-born artist, Eva Schmutterer, who lives in the village.
Skarsvåg
Skarsvåg is a village in Nordkapp Municipality in Troms og Finnmark county, Norway. The village lies along the northern coast of the island of Magerøya, and it claims the distinction of being the world's northernmost fishing village. The local fishing fleet primarily fishes for cod in the waters north of Magerøya. There are about 60 residents in Skarsvåg and it is located about 14 kilometers (8.7 mi) from the famous North Cape. Skarsvåg Church is located in the village. The village is apparently the northernmost settlement in the world that is accessible via a major road network, the European route E69.
The Gallery "East of the Sun"
The Gallery East of the Sun represents the boldness of nature around the North Cape. Collages in bold colours and featuring strong, simple shapes; Eva Schmutterer’s pictures of Magerøya could not have come from anywhere else. Visit the gallery tucked away just below the North Cape.
Tufjorden viewpoint
From the Tufjord view, remains of both an old fishing village and a whaling station can be seen. At a turn on the E69, towards Tufjorden, there is a view of an old fishing village with greatness in the late Middle Ages. On the west side of the fjord are the remains of a whaling station run by the pioneer Svend Foyn until approx. 1890.
