The tour will commence with a short drive to the city of Svetlogorsk, located on the Baltic sea. A cozy European-looking town formerly known as Rauschen, but renamed in 1947. The town became a holiday resort almost 200 years ago when it became popular with European visitors due to the seaside location.

During the panoramic tour of the city the guide will be pointing out the beautiful villas with towers built at the beginning of the last century, each of these buildings is surrounded by trees.
After the panoramic tour, there will be some free time to explore the area and the beautiful promenade. There are plenty of restaurants to take a coffee or shop for souvenirs before meeting back with the tour guide to continue the tour to Filinskaya Bay.
Just a 30-minute drive and the tour arrives into Filinskaya Bay. Filinskaya Bay is one of the most picturesque places in the region. This is a place for amazing views and an opportunity to take photographs of the beautiful bay.
Continuing on with the tour, we then head to Yantarny – a small town often called a ‘world capital of amber, 90% of the world amber 50 million years old is concentrated here. The tour will visit the observation platform and see the mining works from the height of 50 meters, from here we will also have a chance to extract amber.
Yantarny is also a popular holiday resort on the sea, there will be a little free time to walk on the promenade or to visit Masters square where there is an opportunity of shopping for souvenirs.
At the end of the tour, we meet with the tour guide and board the transportation for the drive back to the cruise port of Pionersky.
