You will then visit the historic site of the Battle of Gate Pa and hear all about the Maori Wars and how they shaped the history of this nation. Drive along Tauranga’s newly restored waterfront and see one of their most loved landmarks, the Hairy Maclary, and Friends sculpture.
Before you return to your cruise ship, take a brief trip to Sulphur Point or Kulim Park for a brilliant photo opportunity of your cruise ship with the iconic Mount Maunganui as the backdrop.
