Overview

The tour will commence with a short scenic journey to the Roman Baths, these are situated in the central part of the city so the journey will take around 10 minutes. The Roman Baths are large semi-ruined public baths from Roman times built in the 2nd century AD.  Spanning over 7,500 square feet it is said that Varna Roman Baths are Europe's largest baths after Rome's Baths of Diocletian and Caracalla and those in Trier, Germany.

Dormition of the Theotokos Cathedral Varna
The Dormition of the Mother of God Cathedral is the largest church building in Varna and the third largest cathedral in Bulgaria. Officially opened on 30 August 1886. It is the residence of the bishopric of Varna and Preslav and one of the symbols of Varna.
Roman Baths Varna
The Roman Thermae are a complex of Ancient Roman baths in the Black Sea port city of Varna in northeastern Bulgaria. The Roman Thermae are situated in the southeastern part of the modern city, which under the Roman Empire was known as Odessus.
Varna
Varna is a port city and seaside resort on Bulgaria's Black Sea, next to the coastal resorts of Golden Sands, St. Konstantin, and Albena. It's famous for the "Gold of Varna," 6,000-year-old Thracian jewelry discovered in a necropolis, which is displayed inside the Archaeological Museum, along with Greek, Roman and Ottoman antiquities. A bar-lined waterfront promenade fronts 19th-century Primorski Park.
