Highlights

The Leshan Giant Buddha
The Leshan Giant Buddha is a 71-metre tall stone statue, built between 713 and 803, depicting Maitreya. It is carved out of a cliff face of Cretaceous red bed sandstones that lies at the confluence of the Min River and Dadu River in the southern part of Sichuan province in China, near the city of Leshan.

8:00 you will be picked up from your hotel
11:00-14:00 climb up the hill, visit Lingyun Temple and the tower at the top of the hill. Then walk down to the Buddha’s feet by the plankway on the cliff. Afterward, we will continue to see the Mahao Cave Tombs(2000 years old) and Wuyou Temple with stunning 500 Arhats statues.
14:30-15:00 boat trip
15:00 transfer back to your hotel
