Highlights

Hua Hin
Located on the west coast of the Gulf of Thailand and only 200 kilometers from Bangkok, Hua Hin is Thailand's oldest beach town resort that offers the ultimate getaway destination for everyone. The town rise to become Thailand first enchanting getaway began in 1922 when King Rama VII instructed his Italian architect to construct the summer palace, Klai Kangwon (Far from Worries) in what was then just a humble fishing village. The charm of Hua Hin is that since then it still retains its fishing village serenity which is now side by side with the bustling center of a modern luxury beach resorts. Compared to Pattaya, the other beach destination near Bangkok, Hua Hin is relatively serene, and is a favourite with families and mature travellers.
Laem Sala Beach
Laem Sala beach or Hat Laem Sala is situated at the base of the climb up to Phraya Nakhon cave and is called the pearl of Sam Roi Yot. The sand is as white as the sea shells of which it is composed. The beach itself is only accessible through boat or a steep mountain climb that offers fabulous views of the surrounding landscape. You´ll have this beach practically to yourself. The far south end of the beach the beach is straddled with steep limestone cliffs that offer good shade and nice rock climbing opportunities. The water have been grinding the bottom of the cliffs forming caves and small water gullies were you can refresh in the cool, and calm seawater. The cliffs also offer interesting work out opportunities were in a really nice and natural menvironment.
Phraya Nakhon Cave
The magnificent Phraya Nakhon Cave is one of the most mystical and mysterious landmarks of Thailand but only a few travellers get a chance to take a picture of it. The reason is simple: this gold and green pavilion is hidden inside a hard to reach cave and only a handful of dedicated visitors will do the effort to visit it. Those who do are rewarded with a stunning vision that looks like it's straight out of an Indiana Jones movie. Phraya Nakhon Cave is located in the Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park in Prachuap Khiri Khan province, a 45 minutes drive south of Hua Hin.
Sam Roi Yot National Park
Khao Sam Roi Yot’s dramatic backdrop of endless limestone peaks festooned in lush greenery inspired its name (Khao Sam Roi Yot means ‘the mountain with three hundred peaks’). Covering an area of nearly 100 sqkm along the coast, approximately 60km south of Hua Hin, Khao Sam Roi Yot is as close as it gets to Krabi Province’s dream-like seascapes in the south of Thailand. Peppered with marshes, wetlands and mangrove swamps, the mountains house an abundance of wildlife, including barking deer, crab-eating macaques and serow, an Asian goat-antelope.
