Highlights

Cozumel
Cozumel, a mostly undeveloped Mexican island in the Caribbean Sea, is a popular cruise ship port of call famed for its scuba diving. At Arrecifes de Cozumel National Park, there's diving spots around a section of the Mesoamerican Reef and the Museo Subacuático de Arte’s submerged sculptures. Chankanaab is an eco park surrounding a lagoon with underwater caverns, home to dolphins, manatees and sea turtles.

Itinerary

10:00

After this fantastic drive, you will access the Punta Sur State Refuge thru a long, sandy road, which welcomes you to this untouched and unique ecological reserve.

You’ll visit El Caracol, an ancient Mayan ruin, once used as a weather alarm; see the Columbia Lagoon, a magnificent and incredible ecosystem which feeds and provides balance to the reef formations and watch salt-water crocodiles in their natural environment visiting an observation tower which overlooks the lagoon before going to the beach to enjoy the year-round crystal-clear waters.

Due to its location, this bay is protected and safe from sea currents and its quiet and shallow waters make it the ideal place for snorkeling allowing the observation of different species, such as turtles, lobsters, and tropical fish or simply relax under the shade of your beach umbrella. Then it is back to the Jeeps to visit the Navigation Museum installed inside the Punta Celarain lighthouse or to climb it to the top.

Keep driving to an exclusive Beach Resort to enjoy a delicious Mexican lunch of fajitas, rice, beans, chips, real tortillas, and Mexican salsa !!! Lounge beach chairs, a freshwater swimming pool, showers, and towels are available for you at this spot with no extra charge before return driving to the meeting point.

This absolutely fabulous tour is not to be missed, so what are you waiting for?!
