Aletsch glacier

The Aletsch Glacier or Great Aletsch Glacier is the largest glacier in the Alps. It has a length of about 23 km, has about a volume of 15.4 km³, and covers about 81.7 km² in the eastern Bernese Alps in the Swiss canton of Valais.

Grindelwald

Grindelwald, a village in Switzerland’s Bernese Alps, is a popular gateway for the Jungfrau Region, with skiing in winter and hiking in summer. It's also a base for mountain-climbing ascents up the iconic north face of Eiger Mountain. Gletscherschlucht, a glacial gorge just outside Grindelwald, features paths with interpretive signage, waterfalls and striated limestone walls.

Interlaken village

Interlaken is a traditional resort town in the mountainous Bernese Oberland region of central Switzerland. Built on a narrow stretch of valley, between the emerald-colored waters of Lake Thun and Lake Brienz, it has old timber houses and parkland on either side of the Aare River. Its surrounding mountains, with dense forests, alpine meadows and glaciers, has numerous hiking and skiing trails.

Jungfraujoch

Jungfraujoch is a saddle in the Bernese Alps, connecting the two four-thousander peaks Jungfrau and Mönch, at an elevation of 3,466 metres above sea level.

Lake Thun

Lake Thun is an Alpine lake in Switzerland’s Bernese Oberland region. Its shore is dotted with towns, including Thun, and Romanesque churches. In Thun’s old town, 12th-century Thun Castle houses a museum exhibiting prehistoric and medieval artifacts. To the south, Schadau Park has the Thun Panorama, a 19th-century 360-degree painting of the town. Farther south is Spiez Castle, with furnished 15th-century courtrooms.

Zurich

The city of Zurich, a global center for banking and finance, lies at the north end of Lake Zurich in northern Switzerland. The picturesque lanes of the central Altstadt (Old Town), on either side of the Limmat River, reflect its pre-medieval history. Waterfront promenades like the Limmatquai follow the river toward the 17th-century Rathaus (town hall).

Driving through the beautiful countryside of the Bernese Oberland, you’ll make a stop in the idyllic town of Interlaken.

Take the mountain train to the Top of Europe (2 hours).

From the observation platforms of the Sphinx observatory and meteorological station, open 360 ° Alpine panoramas, a breathtaking view of the longest glacier in Europe Aletsch (about 24 km), and the valley of Lake Thun.
The famous Ice Palace is one of the most popular places in the Jungfraujoch. It covers about 1000 m² and located 20 m below the Aletsch glacier. All exhibits in its halls are carved out of ice.

You can also visit the “Alpine Sensation” adventure trail and the souvenir store.

Hungry visitors also have several restaurants to choose from.
