From Klaipėda, you will travel towards the small town of Priekulė. Emanuel Kant’s great grandfather was born here. En route, you will see the Curonian Lagoon and admire the picturesque view of the Curonian Spit. After the arrival to the Ventės Ragas (Ventė horn), you will visit Ornithological Station, which is on one of the major north-south bird migration routes. At the center, you might be lucky enough to find a bird and put a ring on its leg with the help of a professional ornithologist. From this small cape in the Curonian Lagoon, you can see Nida town from the shore or from the top of the nearby lighthouse.
