Wat Yansangwararam or Wat Yan is the temple complex, located on an area of 145 hectares about 20 kilometers south of Pattaya, is one of the largest active monasteries in Thailand. You will be picked up at the hotel you are staying in Pattaya.
The first stop in your tour will be near Khao Chi Chan mountain where you will see the 160-meter image of the Buddha, lined with gold plates.
Then you will head towards the Viharn Sien monastery where you will admire the world’s largest solid granite lions, a huge number of figures of gods and saints and world-famous terracotta warriors from the tomb of the first emperor of China, which can be found in the only place outside of China.
The guide will take you then to discover the scenic large territory of Wat Yan temple.
The next stop will be at the temple with the sacred relic – “The footstep of Buddha”.
The last stop in your tour will be Karen village where you will meet the owners of the longest necks and find out why women of Karen village from the age of five, wear brass rings around the neck.
When the tour finishes, you will be dropped off at the hotel.
