You will be met at Chania port.
Your tour will begin with a drive to the port of Souda, followed by a visit to the 16th-Century monastery of Chrysopigi, approximately 3km south of Chania. The monastery has a long and fascinating history.
The tour will then take a short break for photos at the Chrysopigi, where you can enjoy the panoramic view over Chania Bay, before reaching the old quarters, crumbling harbour and 15th-Century lighthouse of Chania Town. Your walking tour will take you through colourful neighbourhoods and allow you to visit the most important sites – including the Archaeological Museum, the Cathedral, the Leather Lane and the Market Hall – as well as plenty of areas off the beaten track, which will give you a chance to experience the unique atmosphere and eclectic influences of Chania.
