Once the tour has arrived at the Pyramids, your English-speaking guide will then commence a journey of exploration of this wondrous area. Learn all about the pyramids and tombs and how they were built. The three major tombs or pyramids were built by the Pharaohs Cheops, his son Chephren and Chephren’s son, Mykerinus.
Situated in front of the pyramids is the guardian of the ancient complex the very popular monumental statue, with the body of a lion and the head of a human. Each piece of this monument was carved from Giza Plateau bedrock, and it is known to be a national symbol of both ancient and modern Egypt.
After the visit to the Pyramids, it will be time for some lunch. Your guide will take you to a local restaurant where you will be served a set lunch menu at the restaurant before heading back to the port.
